Every secondary school in Britain will be offered training on how to identify and help children who are suffering mental health issues amid rising concerns about cyber-bullying, Theresa May has announced.

The National Teaching Service was first introduced in 2015 by then Secretary of State for Education, Nicky Morgan MP. Her goal was to recruit 1,500 elite teachers and leaders to work in struggling schools across England to ensure that all children have access to high levels of education, regardless of where they live.

Degree apprenticeships offer work-based courses in conjunction with part-time study at university. At the end of the programme apprentices will qualify with a bachelors or master’s degree in their specific field or area of expertise.
